Brunswick, Georgia
Brunswick is a great town, and we are grateful to be here.
Here's a little bit about our city:
About Brunswick
Brunswick was founded in 1738, although it was not incorporated until 1856. It was one of the original five ports of entry for the United States. It was also a booming town in World War II, manufacturing liberty ships for the United States Navy. Today Brunswick has a city population of about 15,000. It is home to industries, a regional hospital, and the College of Coastal Georgia.
Brunswick has a thriving arts community, a growing small business presence, and a strong non-profit sector.

We hope for more
For us, it goes beyond the numbers. Brunswick is our town, and we are passionate about it. We love being here. More than that: God tells his people (Jeremiah 29:4-7) that they should seek the well-being of their city and pray for it, because "in its peace will be your peace." In other words, God has bound us up with this town, and we rise or fall with it.
So as God's people in Brunswick, we are FOR this town!
That means that a major part of our job at Union City is to be good for this community, to work and pray and share and give so that it improves, and gradually begins to reflect God's design and God's priorities.
